Many people chase success, relationships, or wealth, believing these will bring happiness. However, true fulfillment comes from a God-centered relationship. When we put Him first in all things—our decisions, our thoughts, our emotions—He directs our steps and aligns our path with His perfect plan. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
By surrendering our plans to God, we acknowledge that His wisdom surpasses our own. He sees the full picture of our lives when we only see a single moment.
There are times when we feel lost or impatient. We wonder why things are not happening as we expected or why certain doors remain closed. But God’s timing is always perfect. He is never late, nor is He early—He is always on time.
Isaiah 40:31 encourages us to wait on the Lord:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
When we trust God’s timing, we release worry and embrace His peace. Every delay has a purpose, and every closed door leads us to something greater that God has in store.
Fear can be paralyzing. It keeps us from stepping out in faith, making bold moves, or fully trusting God’s plan. Yet, over and over in scripture, God reminds us: Do not fear.
2 Timothy 1:7 declares:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
When we live by faith, we allow God to lead. We step forward, even when we don’t see the whole picture. We trust that He will guide our every step, lighting our way just enough for the next move.
It’s easy to get caught up in the worries of this world—career goals, financial security, or even personal achievements. But we must always remember that this life is temporary. The real goal is eternity with God.
Matthew 6:19-20 instructs us:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.”
Living with an eternal mindset helps us make decisions that honor God. It encourages us to love more deeply, give more selflessly, and focus on what truly matters—our relationship with Him and the impact we have on others.
Wherever you are in your journey today, know that God is with you. He sees your struggles, your victories, and your dreams. When you allow Him to lead, you will find purpose beyond what this world can offer.
Make the decision today to put God first. Seek Him in prayer, trust His Word, and let His guidance shape your path. Life is temporary, but eternity is forever—choose to walk with God every step of the way.
